Only made it out once but the food was great. My waiter was very nice and helpful. Blew Red Robin OUT OF THE WATER! Definatly my new burger craving go to place!

The nachos were a joke. Small amount of chips with only what looked like about three tablespoons of toppings.

First time visiting Bagger Dave's. Nice clean atmosphere with a train station theme. Host took our name and phone number to text when table was ready. Waited about fifteen minutes, luckily another patron told us they were yelling our name. Never did receive a text? Once seated, the tables are too close together, hard for anyone to move around without bumping into someone. We ordered the twisted Mac 'n' cheese, Great American cheeseburger and french fries. Not impressed with any of the items. Mac n cheese was pretty bland. The burger would have been good except for the onions that were mixed in with the shredded lettuce! It's not mentioned in the description of the burger! Even the home made fries were limp. For my money, I'll spend it someplace else.

Came back for the second time after the disastrous first experience of them being out of half the menu and messing up our orders, this time was worse took our appetizer to the wrong table sat it down left it then came back and tried to give to us, then 2 out of the four burgers came out wrong, manger some young blond girl comes over slams down the new food says nothing and guess what the burger was wrong again. They did nothing about it . I will never eat at this miss managed place again.

I came here with a small group of women. I believe one or two had been here before. Our server was very nice and explained how things work. After we placed our order, it took a good half hour + to receive our food. I don't think it was super busy, but it was a steady night. It was fine since we were out to enjoy ourselves, but would have been stressful with kids. Our meals arrived and 3 of the 5 meals were incorrect. 2 of the women only had minor things (one was missing an item, which was promptly brought out- the other had onions on her which she did not order but said it was fine). Mine was just a completely different burger than what I had ordered (beef instead of turkey, mushrooms on it, missing 3 toppings, wrong cheese, etc.). We were kind of annoyed since that's quite a bit to go wrong for one table, but accidents and mix-ups happen. The waitress was very nice and took my burger back and I waited for a new one to be made. I still had my fries so I was able to eat those. When my burger came out, I was kind of disappointed by the size. The taste was okay, but I am not a burger person. The fries and dipping sauces were delicious, though! Overall, I liked the food considering that it's rare that I like a burger. Anyways, the manager came over and apologized to us and took VERY GOOD care of the three of us whose orders were messed up. I mean above and beyond. We weren't even raising a stink about anything, and we told the waitress numerous times that it was okay when she would apologize. I used to work in the restaurant business and have never seen such excellent customer service! I probably wouldn't have come back of the manager hadn't done what he did for us, but I'm excited to take my husband, now. I really appreciate the manager coming over to us and it really made an impression on all five of us. Thank you! 4/5 stars because I feel like it is over priced for the size of the burger. For that size burger, I would expect fries to come with it.

Visited here with my boyfriend recently. We loved the idea of all the products being local and instead of having Coke or Pepsi it was Michigan made pop! I had the twisted mac and my boyfriend had a burger. The mac & cheese was really, really dry. My boyfriends burger was good but not worth the price. Not sure if we'll be back.

Food came out hot and within a respectable timeframe. The bartenders gave great food and drink recommendations. A great sports bar environment in the bar area. Very clean. Local/ Michigan beer options on tap. A great addition to the area that I will definitely come back to.

This place is very good. A little pricey for a burger joint...but lot of option with nice atmosphere

Medium burger was cooked through, all burgers were dry. Waitress walked by table we had bussed twice without stopping to give us our bill. As we left we saw at least 30 burgers sitting in the window getting old instead of being taken to their tables. Never returning!

My family I visited bagger Dave's for the first time and thought it was just a simple burger place, but found out that it was much more. Great food, great service and a good location. The prices were fair and we received our food quickly. If you go add green olives to your burger...wow.

I like this place overall. I agree with the other reviewers about the food being pricey and the burgers are generally over cooked but the atmosphere is nice and the service is always great which makes up for most shortcomings in my book. And the beer selection is always impressive here which totally adds points for me. Basically if your looking for a gourmet burger probably look elsewhere but if you want a comfortable atmosphere to grab a burger and beer with a friend this is a great spot.

Thought I would check out all of the craze and excitement with this resturant. The place although from exterior is small. Expect wait times for small groups of people. The waiting area itself is quite small. As far as food not impressed. The burger was not the best ive tasted. This is an a la carte experience. The fact my $10 burger did not come with fries was a bit absurd. Im not much a fan of pick and choose menus. The only a la carte experience ive enjoyed was ocean prime and that included everything short of wiping my balls. Bagger daves is overpriced. The idea and concept was a great idea but practicality is poor. I dont believe I will return. The price for 4 people without even getting alcohol was over $60. I rather go somewhere else for a much cheaper cost. Service was good, wait times poor.

The hype for this new restaurant wasn't up to par with its actual quality. The custom burger I created from the menu was pretty dry. Even the peppers and such that I asked to be on there was Eh. The only good thing I ordered was the fries. And DO NOT get the macaroni and cheese. Too much going on, dry, did not taste well, and when I tried to bring it home it smelled spoiled in an hour.

First time ever to a Bagger Dave's. Our visit started off a little shaky when the hostess tried to seat our party of 5 at a table for 4 (a small table for 4) when we asked to be seated at a larger table the hostess seemed annoyed. The waiter though, was very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food was pretty good. Not phenomenal, but tasty. The prices were a little high. We had one appetizer, 2 kids meals (2.50 each on Wednesdays) and 3 adult meals and the bill was 55.00 before tip. 2.59 each for their special sodas that were no big deal. We get spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer everywhere it is offered. They have an artichoke dip that is more like a salsa. It was pretty good, just not what we usually order. After we were done eating the manager came to our table to discuss the snotty hostess. Overall we would probably go back to Bagger Dave's again, but our family would pick Boston's in Fenton given the choice.

Terrible service! Terrible experience. Once being sat the waitress came by to get our drink order, we both ordered a beer and a water. After waiting easily 5 minutes she returned with our beers no water. When we asked again for water she seemed annoyed. Luckily, we have both been to a Bagger Dave's so we are familiar with the way ordering works because it was never offered to be explained. When our food arrived we had to ask twice for silverware and napkins. The person with me ordered a Turkey burger which he felt was under cooked...the server disagreed and just walked away, so he didn't eat dinner. The French fries were raw. Two ladies sitting next to us found a chunk of plastic in her salad and was charged for a more expensive glass of wine than she ordered. I never once saw a manager on the floor to even attempt to mention my dissatisfaction. Overall very unsatisfying visit. I would not recommend stopping in any time soon. Hopefully over time they will improve

Terrible service. Food was ok, but nothing special. Management had no clue in the hiring process. Every employee is 22 and under and has no clue! Very unfriendly and not fast at all. Will not be back.

It's not a bad place; it's just inconsistent. Depending on what day you go, and who waits on you, your experience can be as good as 5 or as bad as 1. I've been more than a hand full of times now, and have to say overall, the place is a solid 3 stars. They really do the burgers on their menu really well, but if you craft your own, the quality and flavor are drastically different. It is night and day unfortunately. So, if you're in the mood for a burger, go with the existing ones. Because of that, I find the concept of the restaurant is rather 1-dimensional, and so, for overall value, you're not really getting that much bang for your buck. With fries being an additional $3.50, it can get to be an expensive casual meal. You can alternatively get a single patty for any of the burgers, but if you're feeling hungry, it might not be enough. Tip: Subscribe to their newsletter and events to receive discount coupons to your email. Some are actually pretty good! Their appetizers are pretty overpriced. Both in portion, and flavor, it just doesn't taste good. Probably the best one out of the bunch (if you had to order) would be the Santa Fe Nachos. I also feel that their desserts are messy, sloppy, and not unique enough to order and pay for $8+. Their Artichoke Turkey Burger is good, and each time we've ordered it, have really liked it. Their American Cheeseburger is good, but inconsistent. Overall, it's more of an upscale take on burgers, but honestly, with the addition of booze and cool environment to lounge in, there's nothing else that really separates it from other places. I'll still come back in a pinch, but it's definitely not on my regular rotation of places.

I'm new to town and came here with some co-workers for dinner. I ordered the mac and cheese with a twist and it was great. The dish included some pepper and a couple of other spices which really gave it a nice kick. Highly recommended! I did take off a star though because our waiter was not very attentive to our table (slow to ask for refills, etc.) and at the end of the meal there were a lot of extra items on our bill which we didn't order. Granted the manager was able to correct the problem, it really shouldn't be that difficult to compile an accurate bill.

Overpriced beer, tiny plates of mediocre food. In general the place is a poor value and there are many better choices including bdub right next door.

The service is great :) we were welcomed and seated immediately with a smile! Drinks were fast! Me and my husband ordered a tuscan chicken sandwich and a tomato, basil, cheese, onion sandwich and he created his own fries. I love the regular fries with buttermilk ranch! My sandwich was on "sourdough" which looked like white bread. Very bland just needed some salt.. Basil was not chopped and there was 1 or 2 leaves per half and they both came out of the sandwich in one bite.. I didn't think a grilled cheese with a LITTLE bit of veggies should be 7 dollars! Fries are a separate price! The chicken sandwich was tasty.. But the chicken was so thick and we didn't know if it was cooked all the way.. Took it off the 8 dollar sandwich. The fries had cheese, onions, pickles, ranch, and tomatoes. All good except there was literally two huge tomato slices placed on top of the fries. Seriously? How are we going to eat that? My husband likes tomatoes so he ate them separate.. But how hard is it to realize the tomatoes should be chopped? I don't get it. The other two times i was here and i ordered a burger.. I do not understand why they ask how you want it cooked because no matter what it comes out very well done. Very overpriced for what they offer.. Wont be back. Service was great :)

Went in for a late lunch, it wasn't busy at all. Initially there was no one to greet us and seat us immediately. As we were finally seated there seemed to be some confusion of which waitstaff would be serving us, so the host took our drink order. Once we received our drinks, my wife noticed that there was a residue inside her glass of pop and asked the waiter if she could have a new glass. There wasn't any apology and we waited about 5 minutes before he brought her a new pop. I really feel for the portion sizes and the quality of the burgers that they are way over priced. There are much better options out there.

I've never been to a Bagger Dave's before so I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a fun and different experience! I like how they make their own soda pop and how different some of their burgers are. They have a lot of different options for toppings, burgers, buns, etc. The burgers are a bit over priced for not coming with sides though. Staff was very friendly and good about explaining their menu to us.

When we walked in the hostess was more interested in chatting with the waiter as opposed to acknowledging that we were standing in front of her. After a hot minute we were seated. Our waitress, who I'm sure shouldn't be doing this as her line of work was not friendly, very short with us, and had zero personality. She was a real pleasure when she told us that fries don't come with the burger..that's an extra $3.50..eek! My boyfriend got the Great American Cheeseburger with bacon and an egg on it, with no condiments. What he got was that but with condiments and he was not thrilled with the mustard and ketchup mixing with the egg flavor. It was a dripping mess..he had to bust out a fork to eat most of it. I got the Sante Fe Nachos with chicken (I wasn't feeling a burger that night). I can't have onions so I omitted the Pico so it basically ended up being a head of shredded lettuce, chopped up cubes of chicken with some liquid cheese on some Tostitos. It wasn't good. Let me tell you about the atmosphere! It's pretty tight in there and bright. I could hear EVERY conversation going on with the tables around me. The couple behind me were fighting and all I heard was Fu*k you! I hate you! yadda, yadda, yadda..super uncomfortable. The table next to me couldn't decided for the life of them what they wanted..I heard the great debate going on for at least 20 minutes. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I really don't see the fascination with the place...I won't be back.

We chose this because it was near the theater - so didn't know what to expect. We were delightfully surprised. Our server, Greg, was fantastic in every way. I have to be careful when I eat red meat (which is not very often) - and the Burger was excellent. It was nice to have so many choices of bun types and toppings. We shared their Sweet Potato chips - yum! I had a Red Velvet cupcake and it was SO good - the cream cheese frosting was light and not super sweet, which was perfect. The only reason I didn't give five starts is due to the HFCS in their sodas. I was happy that they don't sell coke/pepsi and was looking forward to a cherry ice cream soda, but won't eat or drink HFCS - the lemonade has HFCS as well. I hope they change this.

Worst restaurant ever. My "burger" was really small, I ate it in one bite. No burgers come with fries even though its like $10 just for the burger. I got cold fries and the waiter hit on my girlfriend. Save your money...

Would gladly give them 4 stars for there menu selection and their delicious burgers, but the service stinks! Trust me, I know how hard it is to find good staff, but geez, the hostess should at least be friendly! Although I have to say, it does seem to be a "trend" at a lot of retaurants lately....take your least personable rudest employee, and hey! Let's let them be the first thing your customers see when they walk through the door. Genius!

My wife and I thought we'd try the new place in town. We stood there at late lunch hour and no one bothered to seat us so we walked over to a table and sat down. Workers kept walking past us and not paying attention to us for nearly 5 minutes. We were about ready to walk out when a young lady gave us menus and took our drink order. The menu did not have anything innovative on it. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a burger. We were rather surprised to see that you had to pay extra for fries, etc. The food took forever and was cold. The taste was pretty bland and overcooked. The fries were limp, and we had to beg for drink refills. In all, the service was terrible, the food was poorly prepared, lacking in flavor, and it was overpriced. Will not be back.

My husband and I had a gift card so we used it tonight. We called ahead for take out and the meal was ready on time. We husband got a burger that tasted 'weird'. The fries were undercooked and so was the bacon on my BLT. It was all pretty gross and I don't plan on going back. I really wanted to like it since I like the idea of all of the choices but sorry, it was bad.

So here is the skinny on the joint. I'm not mad at it, but I don't love it. Fries: $5.50 The fries were good. But I think it's because I put a pretty delicious combo together. We built our own with jalapeños, smoked Gouda, and ranch. Burger: $10.75 The burger was in desperate need of salt and pepper. Just adding some seasoning would've changed my whole experience with this burger. It wasn't dry, but I feel like it was probably pressed while cooking instead of letting it caramelize. Also, the Egg on the burger was cooked way past sunny side up. The Yolk should act as a sauce for the burger. It was cooked through. I was severely disappointed by this as it's the best part of an Egg Burger. Basic training in the kitchen would be wise and time well spent. The bun wasn't worth the bloat from the gluten. I'm going to pay later. Michigan bakeries do much better. Maybe they can source from a local supplier. Italian Beef: $8.25 The Italian beef will not be on my list of go to Sammy's. I didn't even finish my half. Just didn't like it. Nothing wrong, just wasn't right for me. Sodas: CraftMade. Yummy. Service: It was good. Our waitress was prompt, honest, and friendly. I did see a hostess leaning on the stand with her head down in a busy restaurant when leaving, but other than that everyone was happy and acting professional. Which, sometimes is hard to find these days. Bill: $32 High for a couple sandwiches, and pops with an order of fries. That being said.... They have craft beer On Tap and it's close so I'm sure we will be back, but it won't make the list for regular rotation. We are lucky to have some awesome burger joints in the area, sorry to say this doesn't make it to our Top 5.

Incredibly horrible, greazy, and gross. I love a good greazy bar burger once in a while -- and truthfully, that's why we went!! -- but this is so gross that the bun just turned to mush before I even picked it up. The kids got food off their kids menu, and the portions were laughably small. We had to leave and feed them again, and they are teeny tiny, skinny minnie young 6 and 9 year old girls. I felt bad for the staff. They were very nice and tried to apologize, but stated that all our food was made to the company standard. Ew.

Food and drinks are very good, the staff is super friendly and helpful! I feel very welcomed every time I walk in. I think it's a good alternative to bw3's. I highly suggest the pretzel bun, it's done right!

The good - our server Travis was great. Very friendly, great job. I wish I had more to list for the good other than him. The bad - when entering around noon, the two girls working the hostess stand were awful. We were the only ones entering, we weren't greeted, and when we said "hi, it's our first time here." Their response was nothing. We had to ask "do we seat ourselves?", which prompted her to go "oh" then lead us off to the back corner of the place away from everyone. The place doesn't look that bad, but it seems very corporate. 1/5 - the menu. When coming to a burger specialty place, I expect to see some weird creations or a signature burger that jumps out at me. Nothing really did. There's all the regulars, and that's about it. The only thing that did was the price. $8-10 for a burger, and fries aren't included (3.75 extra...what??). - the food. I went with a bbq southwest burger and fries. It's a favorite of mine, so I was hoping the taste would make all the other negatives go away. It did not. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. However, it tasted like a burger I can get anywhere else at a fraction of the cost. It had no wow factor to it, and when I'm paying $15 to have a burger, fries and cola, I expect whole lot more. Overall - Travis was the only reason this is a 2 star review. In other areas, Baggers might stand out with less competition. However, I have 10 other choices in the area for better food at better prices with better service. Wouldn't recommend, and very bummed out. I was hoping this might become a new frequent stop.

I'm not to sure about Bagger Dave's yet. I did have a good customer service experience. I tried something on their menu, which I didn't like....the server was very helpful about replacing the item with something else that I did enjoy much more. She was really, really very nice about it, which made me feel better as I nearly never send food back. I think I need to go back and try some other items. I ended up with a burger with the toppings I chose and sweet potato chips with the honey cinnamon sauce. My husband had a burger with everything on it (I cant remember the name of it, but it had an egg and fries on it). We both enjoyed our meals, but I would like to go back and form a more definite opinion of whether this is my type of restaurant or not.

Ran into this place while I was headed to my hotel. They have craft beers and a variety of mixed drinks. But almost all were fruity and too sweet. My burger can with a pickle although I asked specifically not to. The waitress was very courteous when I said that my beer was too sweet and took it back although the bottle was opened for me. Sweet potato fries were average Overall okay, but might not be able to strongly recommend except to craft beer lovers of the adventurous kind.

We stopped here on our way to the upper peninsula. It was a Friday night but no one seemed to know what they were doing. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks and order taken. I ordered the house salad entree without cheese and it arrived with cheese on top. I told the server I ordered it without cheese and she took it back to the kitchen. It came back 5 minutes later but it was clear that someone just grabbed the cheese off the top because there was cheese all through the salad. My son didn't get the bacon he ordered on his burger and the twisted mac n cheese was terrible. The menu and theme of this restaurant is good, I just think there a lot of inexperienced folks working at this establishment so the dining experience is less than satisfactory. Some bus tubs would be helpful to clear off tables quicker opposed to carrying everything individually to the kitchen.

Visited here for the first time today for lunch with my wife. Really nice decor on the inside, though I think they could work on widening the seating space in the booths! Service was pretty good, didn't have to keep searching for our server when we needed anything. I had the "Train Wreck" burger with fries and Ranch dip sauce, my wife created her own burger with fries and caramel dip. We like that they create their own in-house sodas! I had a ginger ale, my wife had a cola and they were delicious! The food was very good! I was full afterwards, no room for dessert this time! I couldn't finish my fries; they come in VERY generous portions!! Very nice atmosphere also. Menu wise though, pretty much like Red Robin minus the seasoned fries! We definitely will continue to come here though! Good eating!!

Alright this place was pretty damn good. I love the Michigan local everything, from beer to potatoes. The craft beer selection was limited but properly varied among some light and some dark beers. I ordered a custom turkey burger and it was pretty good. Maybe a little too smokey but that could have been the bacon. Cons- well the atmosphere in the restaraunt was inviting the lighting seemed to be too bright. If an owner/operator reads this please dim the lighting all around maybe keep the same light brightness over the tables. - My party ordered a burger and it came out messed up twice in a row. The waitress was kind enough to fix the problem. Thanks for the experience I am in the Navy and I hope the next time I come home to eat here again it's just as good.

Was so looking forward to this burger joint opening! Thought it would be great. While it turns out to only be, ok. I seriously think I would have been better off staying home and grilling out. The skinny fries are not skinny. They are small, fat and soggy. The burgers are average at best. And the wait to actually get your food after ordering... well, I do not suggest bringing small children. They can only be entertained by the train on the ceiling for so long. Order a beer. It will make the wait more tolerable. UGH.

Food and drinks are a little pricey but not bad. Burgers are very good but tend to be overcooked as they only offer medium or medium-well. Not much else on the menu, but a good selection of different burgers Atmosphere is good, the inside is rather small as compared to other similar type restaurants. The only reason I've given 4-stars is due to the Michigan theme, Michigan craft beers, Michigan craft bourbons, etc. Our server Alaina was great!

When I walked in it was a nice big open space and I also loved being able to have a sheet where I could customize my burger like I got the grilled chicken sandwich that was really good. Would definitely go back

It was the first time that we have been here and probably won't be back. My fiancé had a burger with not very many toppings and it was $11.25 without and sides! I can get the same burger with fries for much cheaper elsewhere. I got a side order of the twisted mac and cheese and just as like previous reviewers have stated it was very dry. We also ordered a shake, which was the only item I enjoyed and an order of fries that weren't great. After tip it was $30 for a lunch that wasn't very impressive. Our server was very nice and helpful- the only silver lining.

Dec 2014 - heard this place was open for less than a month and it felt like it. we were in a party of 9 or 10, which I understand is a large group, but we waited way too long for a table. then it took a long time for the food. several of the orders got mixed up and then several of the bills got mixed up and each mix up took a long time to correct. it was about a 2 and a half hour affair. seems like they are maybe still working out some kinks. staff was pleasant, food was very good but I would say over priced.

Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.

Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States.
